To: SouthWestern Association Members
Subject: Credit & Lien Manuals
Your SouthWestern Association is pleased to announce a new
service/program available to all members. We
believe that this new service will be a valuable addition to our package of programs and
services available to SouthWestern Association members.
The service that we are announcing is our new Credit & Lien Manuals.
In cooperation with our law firm, Seigfreid, Bingham, Levy, Selzer
& Gee and in particular, attorneys, Lance Formwalt and Rod Eisenhower, we have
developed five manuals, one for each state where our members conduct business
Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma & Texas.
The manuals are available in hard, bound copy and/or on CD Rom. We think you will want the CD Rom version in
addition to the hard copy as each of the state manuals has the forms included that you
will need in order to comply with all of the notification rules and regulations for each
state. The forms can be modified by you so
that each includes your particular store name, specific details, etc.
The cost of the manual and CD is $150 which includes tax and
shipping. If you are doing business in more
than one state, you may want to purchase a manual and CD for all of the states where you
are doing business as the credit and lien laws differ state by state. Also, if you do a substantial amount of rental and
leasing business, please contact us as we have not specifically included this information
in our manual.
The manuals will be updated periodically as needed for $25 per
update. Frankly, we don not expect too many
updates as the state and federal credit and lien laws do not change that often but
when they do, we will notify you of the changes and offer you an updated manual for
$25.
I am attaching an order form for your convenience and if you would
like more information or want to view some of the details included in the manuals, check
out the information on our website at www.southwesternassn.com
Thanks for your continued support and participation in association
activities and programs.
